As a Financial Advisor Mr. Brydges has provided personalized service and expert advice in all the areas important to a family’s significant estate and business needs including access to private, commercial and investment banking, lending, asset management, concentrated stock strategies, financial planning, philanthropic planning, trust and intergenerational wealth transfer planning. Mr. Brydges spent majority of his career with Morgan Stanley before going independent and Founding Nautical Wealth Management in 2013.
Mr. Brydges has sat on numerous boards over the years including Start Up Circle, as well as Vice President of the Board of Directors of both the Parkinson’s Association of San Diego (PASD) and San Diego Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association (APDA) where he was honored as the 2010 United Way Combined Health Agencies (CHA) Volunteer of the Year in San Diego.
A graduate of San Diego State University, he received a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Economics and is also a Graduating Founder of the world’s premier idea-stage accelerator and start up launch program, the Founder Institute.
In his free time Brooks is a competitive tennis player and enjoys snowboarding, basketball, and traveling to remote destinations around the world surfing. You can often find him spending time with his family, Golsa, Gavin, Brooklyn and Jordan at the world-renowned beaches right here in Encinitas.
Mr. Brydges holds his CA State Securities Series 66,65,63 and General Industry Series 31, 7 and 52 licenses and is an Investment Advisor Representative with Balboa Wealth Partners, INC, (RIA).
